Spice in My Life...

Pepper Harvest from my garden!!!

This is the elusive Bhut Jolokia commonly known as the "Ghost Pepper."

I Love the bold colors in each vegetable found in the garden.

Yellow Habaneros with Bhut Jolokia "Ghost Pepper."

Growing-up next to a Strawberry Field in Southern California I was spoiled at an early age with the concept of hand-picked farm-to-table produce. I won’t hesitate to call myself a “strawberry snub” as with the exception of produce coming from my own Hillcrest garden, its hard to replicate the taste of fresh food. My garden is my form of therapy and escape, but most importantly it’s my attempt at ensuring a healthy and sustainable life style. Right now the crown jewels in my garden are second-generation jalapeños grown from seed. Let’s just say I add these to about all my dishes to add a little "spice" in my life.
